Born and raised in New York, Dan quickly developed an ear for music and started his career as an amateur musician. Realizing very quickly that becoming a professional musician takes more luck than talent he decided to investigate other options. He began his formal audio engineering education at SUNY Purchase and later completed his coursework at the Institute of Audio Research (IAR).

While attending IAR he fell in love with audio post-production and joined World Wide Audio and an engineer/sound editor. Since then he has been credited as a sound editor for the Cartoon Network's series Xavier: Renegade Angel, and feature films such as Good Bye Baby and the IMAX film Gateway to the World. He has also been credited as the Supervising Sound Designer for the film One Step Behind.

Dan is a co-founder and partner of Prism Post, a sound company that specializes in sound design, foley, ADR, voice over recording, stereo and 5.1 surround mixing for film, broadcast and other visual media.

We highly recommend Dan as a sound engineer. Visit his company Prism Post here.
