"Last Artist" at PS122

Our one-act play "The Last Artist in New York City" rocked out at PS 122's Avant-Garde-A-Rama. The ever-soulful-and-funny Karen Grenke kicked butt, director Jason Jacobs showed his classy stuff, and a great time was had by all. The entire evening -- a production by Jason and Tim Cusack's Theatre Askew -- was a raucous and enjoyable hoot.
A couple of special highlights for Polly and me: a visit from theater critic Steve Vineberg (that's Steve along with Karen and Polly in the snap above), and the chance to meet and gab with downtown theater legend Everett Quinton.
Catch up with Theatre Askew here, and with Karen Grenke's Cagey Productions here.
