FOR THOSE BUYING THE MP3 CD

The SEX SCENES MP3 CD contains 10.6 hours of audio entertainment. By selling SEX SCENES as an MP3 CD we're able to give it to you for one-third the price that a similar package would cost on conventional CDs, and we're able to spare you the inconvenience of dealing with an 11-CD collection.

SEX SCENES is meant to be listened to on an iPod or other MP3 player. Here's how to get the episodes of SEX SCENES from the MP3 CD into your computer's music-playing software.

First, insert the SEX SCENES MP3 CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive. Either of two things will happen. The disc will open in your music playing software, or it will become visible on the computer desktop.

If it opens in your music-playing software, such as iTunes:

  • Create a new playlist in your music-playing software and label it SEX SCENES.
  • Drag the files from the CD into that new playlist. Your computer should copy the files from the CD in a matter of a couple of minutes.
  • The SEX SCENES stories are now in your computer, and you can eject the CD.
  • You will now be able to listen to the SEX SCENES stories on your iPod or MP3 player just as you would listen to any other audio tracks.
  • If you want to burn CDs of the SEX SCENES stories so that you can listen to the collection on your car's CD player, please go right ahead and do so.

If the disc doesn't automatically open in your music-playing software but instead appears on your desktop:

  • Create a new folder on your desktop and label it SEX SCENES.
  • Doubleclick on the image of the SEX SCENES CD.
  • Drag the files that are on the CD into the new folder on your desktop.
  • Open your music-playing software. Create a new playlist in it, and label that playlist SEX SCENES.
  • Drag the files from the folder on your desktop into the playlist.
  • The SEX SCENES stories are now in your computer, and you can eject the CD.
  • You will now be able to listen to the SEX SCENES stories on your iPod or MP3 player just as you would listen to any other audio tracks.
  • If you want to burn CDs of the SEX SCENES stories so that you can listen to the collection on your car's CD player, please go right ahead and do so.

(Some CD players are equipped to play MP3 CDs by the way. If you own one of these, insert the disc and enjoy.)

FOR THOSE BUYING A DOWNLOAD

After completing the purchase of SEX SCENES, you'll be taken to a page where you'll be able to click and download each of the collection's 17 episodes, as well as a PDF file that's a brochure about the making of SEX SCENES. Those who are familiar with downloading and getting MP3 files into their music-playing software should find the process from here on out familiar.

If you're new to downloading, don't be afraid: It's an easy process. Here are a few suggestions to make the process go smoothly.

  • We suggest telling your browser to download files directly to your computer's desktop. In Firefox, go to File>Preferences. There you'll be able to tell the browser where to place downloaded files.
  • The 17 episodes of "Sex Scenes" range in size from 16 MB to 67 MB. If you have a fast internet connection, it will probably take anywhere from 30 seconds to two minutes to download each episode.
  • Once the episodes are on your desktop, open your music-playing software -- iTunes, for instance -- and create a new playlist there. Call it SEX SCENES.
  • Doubleclick on the one PDF file you downloaded. That's a brochure about the making of SEX SCENES.
  • All the other files you have downloaded will be MP3 files, which are sound files. Drag them into the playlist you created in your music-listening software.
  • Listen and enjoy.

You'll receive by email a receipt from PayPal indicating that your order is complete. You'll also receive, via email, a link. That's to make things easy in case you run into any challenges while downloading the collection. Using the link supplied in the email, you'll be able to re-connect to the download page and try again.

 

FAQ

QUESTION: I downloaded all the SEX SCENES episodes -- but now I can't find where they are on my computer!

ANSWER: No need to panic. You probably didn't tell your browser where to put the files on your computer. Rather than going through the headache of trying to find the files, we suggest re-downloading the collection. (You have five chances to get the download right, so no need to be alarmed.) But this time around, tell your browser first where to deposit the files. In Firefox, go to Preferences. Once you're there, tell Firefox to put downloaded files onto the desktop. In Internet Explorer ... In Safari ...

QUESTION: My connection failed during the download and I've lost the link to the Download page. What can I do?

ANSWER: No need to panic. By purchasing SEX SCENES as a download you're given five chances to get the download right. To find the page where you can download the collection, go to your email box. You'll have been sent a tktk from PayPal or Rapture House or something. That email will contain a link to your download page. Just click on it and download whichever stories you still need.

QUESTION: I'd love to know more about the making of SEX SCENES.
